Officially announced at the University of Utah Press website, my first book manuscript was selected as the winner of the 2012 Agha Shahid Ali Poetry Prize by contest judge Kathleen Graber. Besides my collection being published in the spring 2013 catalog, I will receive a cash prize and will give a reading in the University of Utah’s Guest Writers Series.
